A Mexican Navy training ship struck the underside of the Brooklyn Bridge in New York. At least two people have died among the 277 on board, according to New York City Mayor Eric Adams. After the impact, several people were seen clinging to the topmost rungs of the ship. Police and the Mexican Navy reported more than a dozen people were injured, some in serious condition. The Mexican Navy said the ship was on a regular annual training cruise. The bridge has now reopened after a brief closure.
